Vocational education and training (VET) as a tool for regional planning and management in savanna communities (2002-2005)Building on past research work in the field of VET, social capital and trust, this project examines the way that education and training impacts the life of communities in the savanna region of Australia. The project involved an extensive review of regional and community statistics and was supported by a series of case studies conducted in selected communities throughout 2004.The project was funded through the Tropical Savannas CRC and Charles Darwin University.
